You Carry the Divine

In the world we live in today, it’s easy even as believers, to get lost in the perception of man. We begin to measure ourselves by what we see, by what others say, and by standards that were never meant to define us. Somewhere along the way, we forget who we truly are.

We forget that we were created in the image of God.

And when I speak of His image, I’m not talking about our outward appearance. I’m talking about our spiritual nature, the very essence of who we are. The strength we carry. The resilience we possess. The divine power that lives within us.

Life will bring challenges. There will be moments that test your faith, shake your confidence, and make you question your worth. But even in those moments, you have to remember what you carry on the inside. You are not empty. You are not powerless. You are a reflection of the Most High.

And because of that, there is nothing you will face that you are not equipped to overcome.

You were never created to live defeated. You were never designed to lose.

So when life gets heavy, stand firm in this truth: you are made in His image and because of that, victory is already within you.

1 John 4:4 (NIV)

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

Be encouraged.

A simple reflection

Philippians 4:6

This verse simply reminds us to keep our minds on what is of God. Often times, we forget how powerful our thoughts truly are. Many of us are being governed by what we allow to come through our thought process. Philippians 4:6 is a passage from the Apostle Paul pleading with us to remember that our thoughts should always take us back to what God says and wants for our lives; The message translation says, “Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers letting God know your concerns. This verse has carried me through one of the toughest seasons of my life as my mom battled stage 3 breast cancer for 8 months. When worry and fear wanted to cloud my judgement, I took my petitions of healing for her to God. At the end of the day, me staying up worrying or stressing wasn’t going to change the fact that she had to go through this trial. But is was just right for our God. And He delivered. My faith was increased to another level walking through this season with her. But honestly, I grew also as a believer and someone who belittled the true essence of faith and lending our worries to the Father. I want to encourage you to do that, praise and pray. Let your thoughts be anchored in what His words has declared over your life! Go in peace knowing that He is God, and He won’t fail!

Without a vision we perish....

Have you ever felt like you were “one idea” away from becoming a millionaire? So many times we wish and dream for the finer things in life without understanding that we house what we need to obtain those things, but often we fail in putting forth the necessary efforts in order for them to come to fruition. I did not just wake up one day and say “I’m going to be a four-time published author. No, I had to set aside money, time, and attention in order for it to come to past. We can have whatever we desire as long as we are willing to cast work towards our vision. Move your feet and do not sit on your gift any longer. There is someone waiting on you to birth your vision so that they will get what they need. If that’s what it will take for you to get a move on it, then so be it. Look at it like this, someone is going without what they need because you are being selfish with your gift. Remember, our lives do not belong to us, especially those of us that call ourselves believers. Everything we do essentially is to promote the Kingdom of God. Therefore, if God gives you a vision, you have to act on it and do what He says! I am praying for each of you as you navigate through discovering the purpose God has given you. I love each of you! Can;’t wait to chat next time!!

Heyyyyy!!!!!!!

Hey Hey all!!! I want to use this first post to encourage each of you to know that God is so strategic with His timing and has an authentic way of allowing us to collide into our purpose. I have often times wondered WHY He allows certain things to happen to us, specifically those what appear to be “unbearable” moments, but I am always reminded of the scripture text found in

James 1:2-4 New King James Version (NKJV)

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

So today, I want to encourage you to know that every test is sent to perfect your faith. We will need strong and unwavering faith on this journey. Our faith will be the tool that keeps us grounded when what’s going on around us is contradicting to what we are desiring. Cling to your faith, and trust God; regardless of what things look like. I love each of you and I am looking forward to this journey together!

Go in Peace!!!
